Family Complex Litigation and Collaborative Group (FCLC Group) president and attorney John Foster received Best Lawyer’s top honor – the prestigious “Lawyer of the Year” award. This recognition is awarded to individual lawyers with the highest overall peer-feedback for a specific practice area and geographic region. Only one lawyer is recognized as the “Lawyer of the Year” for each specialty and location. John was also selected by his peers for inclusion in the 26th edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America is one of the legal industry’s most prestigious achievements and a distinction that places recognized attorneys among the top legal minds in the nation. As one of the country’s most trusted rating services for lawyers and law firms, Best Lawyers utilizes a multi-phase, peer-review selection process to create its annual listings, which are published worldwide. Selection to The Best Lawyers in America, and recognition for its highest “Lawyer of the Year” honor is a distinction held by very few practicing attorneys nationwide.

“I am honored and humbled by this designation. None of this is possible without my associate, Alessandra Manes, and paralegal, Cassi Kelley, who are the best. Of course, much thanks to my colleagues with and against whom, and our judges before whom, I practice my profession–their high level of professionalism and competency continues to inspire me toward betterment. And, for you young lawyers out there, this just goes to show: If you hang around long enough, this too may happen to you,” says John.
