FCLC Group President John Foster Nominated for Reappointment to the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar.

The Executive Council consists of the Family Law Section’s Executive Committee Officers and 32 highly-committed family law attorneys from throughout Florida who, together, supervise and control the affairs of The Florida Bar’s Family Law Section. The mission of Florida Bar’s Family Law Section is “to promote the highest standards of professionalism and legal advocacy in the delivery of a wide array of services to Florida families as we seek the consistent, fair, and expeditious administration of justice.

An active member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, John has served as a member of the Executive Council since 2012. In addition to his recent nomination for reappointment to the Executive Council, he was also recently appointed as the Chair of the Ad Hoc Parentage Committee and the Ad Hoc Health and Wellness Committee.

John also serves as a member of the Legislation Committee, as well as the Domestic Violence Committee and the Children’s Issues Committee. He is a former chair of the Equitable Distribution Committee.

John is passionate about continuing to do his part to help facilitate the ongoing efforts of the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar.

For more than 39 years, John has handled litigation, trials, and appeals in state and federal courts. His practice now focuses exclusively on the resolution of complex divorce and family law cases, whether resolved through settlement, the litigation process, and trial, mediation, the collaborative process, or the appellate process.
