The Orange County Bar Association named FCLC Group’s Founder, John Foster, as the 2022 recipient of the William Trickel, Jr., Professionalism Award.

Each year, the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) awards the William Trickel, Jr., Award to an attorney with 15 or more years of experience. As reflected on the OCBA’s Website, recipients of this professionalism award “…are nominated by their peers [as] attorneys whose conduct and career stands as a model of success built on unquestioned professionalism.” FCLC Group founder, John Foster, is a recipient of the 2022 William Trickel, Jr., Professionalism Award.

John has been actively practicing law in Orange County since 1981. John tells us that when Kate Hollis of the OCBA called to inform him of this honor, “I was both shocked and appreciative beyond words, and extremely humbled when I read the list naming the prior recipients starting in 1994 with Attorney David King. All of the prior recipients are highly successful attorneys who exemplify professionalism and civility in all that they do. To be added to this list of recipients by my colleagues after 41 years of practice is simply an honor that is quite humbling and appreciated.”

John is a leader in his profession and the community. He is actively involved in the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar Association. 

John is actively involved in the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar Association. He currently serves by appointment on the Family Law Section’s Executive Council and Legislation Committee. John presently chairs the Parentage Committee and the Ad Hoc Health & Wellness Committee. He is a member of the Children’s Issues Committee and the Domestic Violence Committee and a former chair of the Equitable Distribution Committee.

John has achieved the highest AV rating by Martindale Hubbell, and he is ranked by Chambers USA. John has been named as one of America’s Best Lawyers, as Florida Legal Elite for Marital and Family law by Florida Trend, as a Florida “Super Lawyer,” as one of Orlando’s Best Lawyers by Orlando Magazine, and as a top Orlando lawyer by the Orlando Home and Leisure Magazine. By invitation, John is a member of the National Advocates “Top 100.”
